‘Monserrat’ School of Dressage Pty. Ltd. conforms to strict safety standards, has excellent facilities and horses that are well cared for, in good condition and suitable for their work.

I am an ‘A’ Level Dressage Judge and coach a number of riders on their own horses. I also train horses for owners from Preliminary to Grand Prix level and for the show ring.

All lessons are private. For beginners I recommend lunge lessons where the control of the horse is left to the instructor during the early stages of learning. This is unquestionably the safest and most pleasant way to learn for both horse and rider and lunge lessons definitely produce the most rapid progress. For safety reasons I advise that trail riding should not be considered until a rider can competently and safely control a horse off the lunge at walk, trot and canter in an enclosed area.

I have 3 highly schooled horses for riders that can already ride. Many of my riders just want to be better riders and by improving their knowledge and skill level not hurt horses through ignorance. Other riders come for their rest and recreation, some are working towards buying a horse and others want to compete somewhere up the track. They all derive great enjoyment from riding my very well trained horses in lovely surroundings and I enjoy helping them.

Open Monday to Saturday and most Public Holidays. Closed on Sundays.
